Lana and Lilly – thank you

Not for me, not personally, but for what your example will do for those young confused souls who will follow us through the darkness of a world that hates us, misunderstands us, and sometimes brutalizes us. I had long hoped for examples outside the world of adult film that could set positive examples to show the world that trans people have value. We are not freaks to be gawked at and marginalized. That the creators of one of the greatest movies in recent history are both trans and out, makes me cry tears of joy. That it may be possible now for young trans people to envision a future where they might not be denied a job working in their desired field of interest based simply on their gender non-conformity.
